Onam Examinations Question Papers

The Kerala Government has decided to conduct the quarterly examinations / Onam Examinations in the State-run schools. During its tenure, the previous CPI(M)-led LDF Government had stopped Onam and Christmas Examinations and proposed a half-yearly exam during October and a final exam during March-April. UDF Government has decided to conduct the Onam and Christmas Examinations in Kerala state run schools. The examinations would be held from August 10 to 21.

The education department of Kerala has announced that the Onam Examinations / Quarterly examinations in 2026 will be as class test. Schools can download required questions from a collection of questions from the authorized website.

PAN of Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund Kerala, Okhi Relief Fund PAN

It is the time to file Income Tax Return, most of Kerala Government employees and teachers were contributed to victims of the disaster caused by the Ockhi cyclone to the Chief Ministers disaster relief fund, i.e, Okhi Relief Fund. Contributions to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund are 100% tax exempt under section 80 G (2) (IIIHF) of the Income Tax Act.

Deduction amount U/s. 80G

Donations paid to specified institutions qualify for tax deduction under section 80G but is subject to certain ceiling limits. Based on limits, we can broadly divide

all eligible donations under section 80G into four categories:

a) 100% deduction without any qualifying limit (e.g., Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund).
b) 50% deduction without any qualifying limit (e.g., Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust).
c) 100% deduction subject to qualifying limit (e.g., an approved institution for promoting family
planning).
d) 50% deduction subject to qualifying limit (e.g., an approved institution for charitable purpose
other than promoting family planning).

How to Include Okhi Relief Fund Donation in under section 80 G

For claiming income tax exemption for donations made to Kerala Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) or Okhi Relief Fund, the following details may be entered in the 80G tab in Income tax e-filing page. As I Mentioned above donations to Okhi Relief Fund or Chief Ministers disaster relief fund is to be included under section A Donations entitled for 100% deductions without qualifying limit
